Graphic campaign for the Webby Awards
To mark the 30th edition of The Webby Awards, the organization commissioned us to design the visual identity and communication assets for this year’s Call for Entries campaign. The goal was to drive submissions for the most prestigious awards in the digital world—an international benchmark in online creativity and innovation across websites, apps, advertising, AI, podcasts and more. The 30th anniversary offered the perfect opportunity to celebrate the Webby’s legacy while reaffirming its cultural relevance in today’s digital landscape.
Our creative approach was to look back at early Internet culture through a contemporary lens. We took inspiration from the visual language of vintage web browsers and early interfaces—icons, buttons, pixel textures—that shaped how we first navigated the web. These elements helped us build a nostalgic yet fresh identity that bridges past and present.
At the heart of the campaign, we created a symbol inspired by the shape of the Webby statuette. By framing its spiral structure, we revealed the outline of a number “3,” which, when combined with a zero, becomes the graphic seal of the 30th anniversary. This distinctive mark served as the anchor of the campaign and was adapted across all digital formats and media.
The campaign includes animated assets and dynamic content, with applications across social media, websites, banners, and other digital communication channels. The result is a bold and celebratory visual identity that honours three decades of Internet excellence and invites the next generation of creators to be part of the Webby legacy.
