Dansàneu 2026 Campaign
The visual identity for Dansàneu 2026 begins with a gaze. More specifically, with the gaze of the seraphim depicted in the Romanesque paintings of the church of Santa Maria d’Àneu. The eyes on their wings become the starting point for a visual identity that connects heritage, imagination and territory.
Under the concept “The Valls d’Àneu are watching you”, these eyes are reinterpreted and transformed into a graphic element with multiple forms and textures. Iconified, enlarged, combined and transformed, they appear throughout the campaign as a presence that watches over and moves across the Valls d’Àneu, creating a recognisable visual language that can adapt to different communication formats.
The idea takes on a more narrative dimension in the audiovisual spot, where the seraphim’s eyes leave the Romanesque paintings behind and transform into magical characters that come to life. As if they had stepped out of the walls of the church, these figures wander and dance through the Pyrenean landscapes, appearing in some of the locations where the festival performances take place. A way of connecting heritage with the present and making the territory an active part of the story.
The campaign also incorporates a second layer of meaning in the form of a badge. A badge that acts both as a warning and as a statement of reivindication: the right to culture that is accessible to everyone living in the Valls d’Àneu. The project thus highlights the need for a culture that is alive, present and shared throughout the territory, beyond the usual centres of cultural activity.
The badge brings this reivindication from the communication pieces into the physical space and to the people themselves, becoming a tangible element of the campaign. A small symbol worn on the lapel that reivindicates the right to equal access to culture, wherever you live.
The result is a campaign that combines heritage and contemporaneity, imagination and reivindication, expanding Dansàneu’s visual universe while maintaining its strong connection to the territory. A project that comes at a moment of consolidation for the festival, which has increased its audience by almost 30% compared with the previous year, further establishing itself as a high-quality cultural event and a reference in the region for its programme and ability to attract audiences.
