Catalogue for the exhibition “Ready to Read”.
Exhibition on books designed in Spain over the last 25 years. The design was based on Jaime Hayon’s design of the furniture and exhibition set-up for the Instituto Cervantes venue in New York (USA).
Preview Spain
Programme of activities for the Embassy of Spain (Washington DC / USA). Using classic elements of Spanish popular culture (mantilla, paella, etc), textures and layers are used to distribute the information and classify the different items to be communicated.
The Calder’s effect
Design of the book for Editorial La Galera de llibre juvenil. Through textures and fantastic and imaginary figures typical of Pere Calders (a catalan writer), the different chapters are separated.
Spain’s Great Untranslated
Book design for Words Without Borders (an organisation that seeks international exchange through the translation, publication and promotion of the best international literature). We worked on an abstraction of a bookshop and the books that are piled up there.
