

























Brand redesign for ENISA
ENISA, the Spanish National Innovation Company, is a public entity that supports startups and innovative SMEs through financing and strategic guidance. To update its identity and adapt it to a more contemporary visual language, the organization entrusted us with the redesign of its corporate brand. The challenge was to modernize the visual identity while preserving its most distinctive elements and to equip ENISA with new graphic assets and communication tools that would allow for a versatile and effective application across various platforms. Additionally, the project included the development of a new brand manual to establish a coherent and flexible graphic language.
One of the biggest challenges in any rebranding process is striking the right balance between continuity and innovation. In ENISA’s case, we identified that the “e” with an upward arrow was a key element that needed to be preserved, but it required a new geometry and a more solid structure to gain consistency and visual impact. On a typographic level, the goal was to move away from the cursive serif and adopt a cleaner, more geometric, and bolder typeface to enhance its presence and readability.
The final solution is a new identity that maintains ENISA’s essence while completely refreshing its graphic approach. The new symbol retains the “e” and the upward arrow as a representation of business growth but with a more stable geometry, a bolder letterform, and a more prominent arrow. The new lowercase typography embraces a modern, strong character, with the “i” acting as a symmetrical axis, adding personality to the composition.
Building upon this redesign, we developed a new, brighter, and updated color palette, along with a key visual concept based on the “toggle” as a symbol of activation, representing the moment a company is “switched on” and begins its growth journey. This graphic element extends into arrows and even spirals, symbolizing ENISA’s role in guiding and supporting businesses as they move forward. In its reduced form, the toggle becomes a secondary symbol, and its application across different colors makes the brand dynamic and adaptable.
The project was completed with the development of a new animation system and graphic resources that reinforce the concepts of movement, growth, and transformation. This new visual language gives ENISA a refreshed identity, fully prepared to face the challenges of today’s business ecosystem.
