Rebranding for a high-end glass packaging design and production company.
Estal, a Catalan company in the field of high-end glass packaging design and manufacturing for food and cosmetics internationally, contacts us to renew its identity and create a brand that reflects its essence. With a practical approach where design allows them to provide packaging solutions that meet the functionality and aesthetics required by local and international clients, they work to enhance the perception of the brands they collaborate with.
In the initial phase of brand strategy and definition, we conducted a positioning workshop in which we defined Estal’s mission and vision, emphasizing their commitment to sustainability and the use of recycled glass, as well as the new values to communicate, including innovation and excellence, establishing them as pillars for the development of the new brand identity.
For the creative conceptualization phase, we worked under the concept that Estal’s new identity originates from the materiality of glass and how it transforms reality, its perception, and the presentation of its content. We highlighted the glass’s ability to enhance and alter the visual and tactile experience of products.
In the development of Estal’s visual identity, we took the unique silhouettes of their often custom-made packaging as a starting point, using them in visual compositions that demonstrate the packaging’s capacity to influence the perception of products and their environment. The choice of a modern typeface (The Future by Klim Type) and a vibrant color palette where gradients play a prominent role as halos of light reinforces this vision, highlighting the influence of glass on the interaction with light and color.
In the development of brand materials and applications, we worked on a wide variety of images and messages, the brand application guide, and web style sheets, as well as numerous materials, assets, and templates to enable Estal’s design team to independently develop the brand identity.
With this renewed identity for Estal, the goal is to emphasize their ability to innovate with packaging that transforms and enhances the products they contain, increasing their value and perception. Estal aims to position itself as a leader in the packaging design market, promoting a better future where design and sustainability effectively merge.
