Building a sustainable packaging brand
The challenge set by Jabil Packaging Solutions, the packaging division of Jabil, was to build a new brand capable of leading the sustainable transformation of the industry from within. Ecologic Brands was born as a focused proposition dedicated to developing high-performance sustainable packaging solutions for mass consumer markets, combining material innovation, industrial efficiency and true circularity.
The project began with the creation of the brand identity, driven by a dual strategic objective: to strengthen the concept of “ecologic” while reframing packaging primarily as a container, functional, technological and transformative. The symbol synthesizes this ambition through three elements that construct the word ECO while simultaneously shaping the silhouette of a container. A third reading reveals a circular arrow, directly referencing the future of sustainable packaging: material circularity, waste recovery and the development of new materialities as the foundation of a more efficient and responsible system.
From this foundational idea, a graphic code was developed with a strong focus on matter and process. Textures evoke natural fibers and water as the transforming element capable of converting fiber into resistant structures suitable for liquid containment. This visual universe supports a complete catalogue of containers, utensils and packaging solutions designed for large-scale markets. Ecologic Brands integrates ongoing research into new organic plastics that optimize liquid storage with less material, combined with an outer layer of next-generation fiber-based cardboard. Innovation is not only formal, it is structural and systemic.
The brand development articulates a color palette, typographic system and visual elements that reinforce the business model while clearly organizing and communicating the breadth of the product portfolio. The visual language is designed to scale, adapting to industrial, corporate and commercial environments, and positioning Ecologic Brands as a partner capable of co-creating tailored solutions with its clients.
Across both print and digital communications, the system fulfills a dual role: explaining manufacturing processes and the brand’s differentiated value proposition, while showcasing the catalogue as an open platform for innovation. The project also included video support, diagrams, animated infographics and a social media content strategy, building a coherent and educational narrative to position Ecologic Brands as a sustainability leader in the packaging sector.
All of this operates under the umbrella of Jabil, whose industrial expertise, technological capabilities and global presence ensure agile, scalable and cutting-edge solutions. Ecologic Brands stands at the intersection of material innovation and industrial strength, redefining sustainable packaging standards from a strategic, technological and global perspective.
